This means that we prefer not to 'act without thinking': sound and good work preparation is essential in order to deliver good quality by the agreed date. So we prefer to stick to 'start slow before you go fast': not the start date of a job is important here, but the timely accomplishment. Because that is what we have agreed with you on.
